Project Info:

This work consisted of working with key Fedex B2B executives & internal executives to identify patterns for package fraud, and then building out SQL queries to identify all packages in the FXG network that have potential fraudulent activity, and finally building a Python framework to send out customized email alerts every morning to all FedEx warehouses indicating all packages that potentially have fraudulent activity. These automated email alerts are sent to warehouse managers & corporate security personnel at 600+ FedEx warehouses on a daily basis. This work directly resulted in a significant drop in fraud for key FedEx B2B customers, which resulted in $300M+ in estimated revenue savings from the potential loss of contract to external competitors.
